Finishing Well

Purpose: To develop and sustain enriching relationships with seniors in Assisted or Skilled Living Facilities. Seniors have expressed an interest in music (traditional hymns and upbeat songs), games - card games including bridge and pinochle, Wee, travel slides, cooking, puzzles, exercise, and invigorating conversation. One of the best gifts we can share with another person is the gift of love as manifested in quality time. This outreach affords you the opportunity to share your love, energy, humor, and unique individual gifts with seniors.
When: Monthly (Saturdays) - Dates Vary -- Opportunities for more frequent involvement are available.
Where: The Chateau on Capitol Ave (Midtown), a block from Sutter's fort. It is adjacent to Trinity Cathedral. Metered parking is available on the street.
Volunteers: You must have an earnest appreciation for the elderly, be outgoing, patient, and energetic.
