Project Turnaround

Pastor Mark has been in full time ministry for 13 years. He has served as a youth pastor, senior associate pastor and is currently on staff at Mars Hill Community Church and directs the Project Turnaround, Sacramento Ministry (PTA).

Gloria works full time with the State of California as an Administrative Assistant and assists her husband with PTA and Celebrate Recovery ministries. They have been married for 28 years, have two grown children, Megan and Aaron and two beautiful grandchildren, Ava and Elias. And they are blessed with a wonderful son in-law, Ivan.

Grant is the "veteran" of our T.E.A.M., who is currently walking in and leading others through Celebrate Recovery. His professional and educational experience also enables him to understand hurts, hang-ups, and habits, as well as the victories that God's grace and truth provide. His passion is to help people find and fulfill their identity and calling in Christ through healing, equipping, and service. He has raised his family in Sacramento since 1993. His two daughters and he have been part of Mars Hill family since it began.

Carol facilitates the Finishing Well outreach. She worked as a Certified Ombudsman, Training Coordinator, and Policy Lead for the Department of Aging, Office of the State Long-Term Care (LTC) Ombudsman approximately 3 years. All 50 states including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam have an Office of the State LTC Ombudsman. Its mission and primary function is to advocate on behalf of seniors living in LTC facilities. Currently, Carol works as a Manager with the Department of Managed Health Care, a state regulatory agency. Her other areas of service include: Lead Usher, member of the Trustee Advisory Team, and Season of Hope - Agape Villages Foster Family Agency Facilitator.
